TPAC Tailgate Sunday

The GPCC is excited that we get to gather together for a congregational worship service this Sunday, September 7th at 10:30a. Children's Ministry will be located in the basement Chapel in the TPAC building, and check-in will begin at 10:15 am. The Sunday worship service will be our annual Tailgate service!

Experience the energy and joy of our entire church family coming together under one roof! We gather four times throughout the year at the beautiful Temple Performing Arts Center for a special time of worship and connection.

Whether you're a first-time visitor or a long-time member, these quarterly celebrations are a wonderful opportunity to experience the full life and diversity of our church family. Come as you are - we'd love to see you there! We also provide child care and free parking for all who attend. Check below for tailgate and parking information.

  • Here are the Sunday service dates:

    • September 7th

    • December 14th

    Worship is from 10:30 am to Noon

    Doors open at 10 am

    Childcare sign-in at 10:15 am

  • Children's Ministry will be located in the basement Chapel in the TPAC building, and check-in will begin at 10:15 am.

  • Parking is available at Temple University's Diamond Street Lot. You can park there (for free) to set up your food table. Food is organized by small groups. Check with your small group leader for details.

    The front portion of the parking lot will be reserved for a gathering point. Please be mindful of the following:

    1. There are no charcoal grills, but you can have propane tanks, which are OK.

    2. There will be no drop-off point for food before service. Everything will need to remain in your vehicle until after service.

    3. Each small group is responsible for their own trash cleanup after the tailgate.

    4. No Alcohol will be permitted at the tailgate in any form.

  • Important Parking Information:
    Free parking is located at Temple University's Diamond Street Lot. Make sure to plan for a 10-minute walk. The lot will be open from 9 am to 1:30 pm. To get there:

    • For the easiest access to TPAC, use the pedestrian gate at 12th and Norris Street
